Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and SEO Logbook, located at 15461 Arbory Way, Laurel, MD 20707, USA. By placing an order or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are purchasing on behalf of a company, you represent you are authorized to bind that entity.

2. Services We Provide

SEO Logbook provides digital SEO services delivered exclusively online. Our current service offerings include:

  • Rank Tracking and reporting
  • On-Page SEO optimization
  • SEO strategy consulting
  • Content optimization and content-to-keyword alignment
  • Google Business Profile management and optimization
  • Penalty recovery and Google algorithmic impact analysis

All services produce digital deliverables. No physical goods or printed materials are provided. Deliverables are sent to the email address provided at checkout.

3. Placing an Order

An order is confirmed when Stripe processes your payment successfully. By completing checkout, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You have read and agree to these Terms and our Refund Policy
  • The billing information and email provided are accurate
  • You are authorized to use the payment method provided

We reserve the right to decline any order, in which case a full refund will be issued within 3 business days.

4. Pricing

All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD). Prices include all service fees. We do not charge sales tax on digital services unless required by specific state regulations that apply to your location.

Prices shown at time of order are fixed for that order. Future pricing changes do not affect confirmed orders.

Payment is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store, see, or process your card details.

5. Scope of Work

The scope of each engagement is defined by the package or service configuration you select at checkout. Deliverables are limited to what is described in the package description. Items outside the listed scope require a separate written agreement.

If analysis reveals that your site is significantly larger or more complex than typical (e.g., unusually large ecommerce catalog, multiple subdomains), we will contact you before proceeding and may propose a scope adjustment.

6. Your Responsibilities

To allow us to perform the work you purchased, you agree to:

  • Provide the required website URL and any access needed for your service type (e.g., Search Console, Google Analytics view access)
  • Respond to our onboarding requests within 5 business days
  • Disclose any planned site changes (migration, redesign, CMS switch) during the project period
  • Ensure that you are authorized to grant us access to any platform or account we request

Delays caused by late or incomplete responses from your side will extend the delivery timeline and are not grounds for a refund.

7. Delivery

Delivery timelines begin from the date we receive all required information and access. Standard timelines are specified in our Delivery Policy. We will confirm your expected delivery date in the onboarding email.

8. No Guarantee of Rankings

SEO Logbook provides analysis, strategy, and optimization work. We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, or revenue outcomes. Search engine rankings are determined by algorithms maintained by third parties (Google, Bing, etc.) entirely outside our control. Our recommendations are based on established SEO principles and our professional assessment of your site's current state.

9. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, all deliverables produced for your engagement become your property to use, share, and modify as you see fit for your own business purposes. You may not resell our deliverables as independently produced work or present them as your own original output to third parties without our written consent.

Our internal methodologies, templates, scoring systems, and processes remain our intellectual property.

10. Confidentiality

We treat all information you share as confidential. We will not disclose client information to third parties, publish case studies identifying your business, or share your site data with competitors. We may reference aggregate outcomes (e.g., "our clients see an average of X% improvement") for marketing purposes without disclosing client identities.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SEO Logbook's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific engagement that gave rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, lost clients, lost data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SEO Logbook harmless from any claims, costs, or damages (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of our deliverables, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Dispute Resolution

We encourage direct resolution. Contact hello@seologbook.com before initiating any formal proceeding. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Prince George's County, Maryland.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. Changes will be published here with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services following notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
